Washington, October 3 : Those looking to score some points with Padma Lakshmi might want to learn how to cook great spaghetti, for the 'Top Chef' host has revealed she loves the Italian dish.
The model, who is pregnant with her first child, made the revelation to the upcoming issue of VEGAS Magazine.
Padma Lakshmi, the sassy and sultry host of Bravo’s “Top Chef,” lives in a Lower East Side loft she likens to “a treehouse”; its test kitchen has an eight-burner stove, where she recently made dinner for the Ethiopian supermodel Liya Kebede (“I needed someone African” because “I’m trying out these new spice blends.”)
In the off-season, Ms. Lakshmi, 39, cuts out alcohol, red meat, sweets and cheese to shed the dress size she adds while taping the show. She spends most Sundays solo, though that will soon change: she announced last week that she is pregnant.Padma and Manu, who have known each other for several years, were last seen stepping out together at a movie screening last month. She was spotted attending this year's Primetime Emmy Awards in Los Angeles on Sunday, September 20. She hit the event's red carpet in backless purple dress.
