Courteney Bass Cox (A.K.A. "Courteney Cox Arquette") is an American actress, best known for her role as Monica Geller on the sitcom, "Friends." Courteney has also starred in "Dirt" and the "Scream" series, and has guest-starred in "Scrubs."
It's up there with Happy Birthday and old-school Christmas Carols. In fact, we're willing to bet that 99 percent of you will know the words. Kudrow looked to her friend for help, but Cox Arquette gleefully threw her pal under the Benefit bus, calling out to the stagehands: "Get her a guitar, people!"
After being fitted with an acoustic guitar, the momentarily bewildered actress warily asked, "Is this a set up?" before summoning her inner Phoebe and serenading the audience with her ballad about an odiferous feline.
"Smelly cat, smelly cat, what are they feeding you?" she sang.And the crowd leapt to its feet.
She has recently shot The Bounty. Her best friend in real life Courteney Cox is currently making Cougar Town for television. A movie source said: "The cast haven't set the world alight since the show finished. But this film could relight some of their flagging careers in a big way.
But everyone knew the story had to be right and well written. Getting the creators on board was a massive step forward for the project. The show did lose a lot of its shine in the last few seasons, but with the actors all in the forties it would be a real interest to see how their characters have developed."
