Blending action and humor in a fast-paced adventure series, with Anderson often poking fun at her tabloid image, the show explored the exciting and sometimes treacherous lives of the rich and famous. The series lasted through a successful five year run.

Chalke played Dr. Elliott Reed for that show's first eight seasons. Though she'll no longer be a regular moving forward, Chalke has signed on to guest star when the series moves to medical school.

Ryan, meanwhile, played kooky human resources manager Holly Flax during a guest run on "The Office." She was also an Oscar nominee for the 2007 movie "Gone Baby Gone."

Diaz has officially signed on to play Lenore “Casey” Case, historically Britt Reid’s beautiful secretary and one of the few people aware that Reid (who will be played by Seth Rogen) spends his off-hours fighting crime as the Hornet. In the soon-to-shoot film, however, Casey will be re-imagined as a forensics-TV-show loving amateur sleuth who remains in the dark about Green Hornet’s true identity—and is smarting from a recent divorce.
